It’s so hard to get a job these days so dont la f**k it up during your probation period pulak
These are some tips from me on how to stay safe masa probation
Your boss is GOD. So learn how the boss likes to work. If boss doesn't like you, then die la.
Build relationships fast: not just with the boss, but also with your colleagues, admin, IT, kakak cleaner
Show your face in the office as much as possible even when there is a WFH policy
Don't try to change anything major. Just watch and observe what's going on. Tengok dulu
Learn the unwritten rules in the office: macam macam rules ada tau.
Over-communicate your progress. Your boss can’t read your mind.
Document everything that you have done: easy to show your boss your progress
If you don't understand how to do your work, just ask. Better to ask then get it wrong.
Ask for feedback regularly. Fix what is needed and don’t get defensive bila dapat negative feedback
Build and protect your reputation: be reliable, be on time, and be easy to work with.
