I turned 53 on the 7th of November 2025

Another year older. 

Another year closer to the end.

Is that something to celebrate?

I guess so.

After all, next year’s celebration is not guaranteed. Belum tentu lagi

This year is a very important year for me. Very memorable.

It's the beginning of a new chapter in my life. 

This is the year that I finally decided to do something for myself. Buat business and jadi boss sendiri. 

Still early days. So many things to unlearn, learn and discover 

I am very grateful that I have this opportunity even at my age. 

So what are the 10 big learnings so far in my 53 yrs of living

1️⃣ Whatever happens, family always comes first. So don’t forget that

2️⃣ You cannot please everyone. So be happy if majority of people likes what you do.

3️⃣ Being right is overrated. Its more important to be happy. So there is no need to win every argument

4️⃣ Money doesnt buy happiness. But it can buy a great lifestyle. So learn investing.

5️⃣ Some people are bad people. Untrustworthy and toxic. So don’t trust blindly 

6️⃣ Karma is real. It will come back to you. So be kind to people 

7️⃣Things will always work out. So when new opportunities knocks on your door, say yes first and figure it out later

8️⃣ Motivation is overrated. Discipline is more important. So build good habits

9️⃣ Learning never stops. So be curious and ask questions

🔟 There are many ways to do something. Your way is not the only way.

So be open minded. 

So that’s my word of wisdom for today.

What is it all about?

This is not your usual networking event.

Forget stiff handshakes, boring small talk and awkward silences — Let’s Get Linked-In 4.0 is designed for fun, creativity and authentic connections in a relaxed casual environment. There are activities planned throughout the day to help you connect with the others. This is the 4th networking event that I’m organising this year so all the feedback has been taken into consideration to make this one the best one this year.

Why Creativity?

The theme for this event is Creativity, to give us all a chance to unlock the power of our right brain. Most of us are very logical left brain thinker. Very technical. By using our right brain, tapping into imagination, expression, and play, you’ll discover new ways to connect with people beyond the usual “What do you do?”
