What have you achieved in the first 4 months?

Dear friends,

Happy Belated Workers Day.

I hope you did get a day off yesterday and was not working yesterday.

I want to apologise for being quiet for a few months already now. My 9-5 work has been hectic and I have also been focussing on doing some workshops. Thank you for those who attended my Career Autobahn workshops.

It is the month of May already and January, February, March and April just flew by very fast this year. So what have you achieved in the last 4 months?

I asked this exact question to my team the other day and there was silence. Total silence.

They were all reflecting on the 4 months that whizzes past just like that. 

So what have I achieved?

  • My elbow injury is now 90% healed and I can get back to CrossFit hurray. It has been a slow recovery process.

  • Workwise, we launched 2 new drugs in Malaysia and Singapore for patients with psoriasis and kidney disease. An important milestone for the company.

  • A couple of big promotions and awards in my team. One of my team moved to a global role in Germany and another one moved to a Regional role in Singapore. 

  • I did a couple of career talks for students in IMU. Very fun talking to the Gen Zs.

  • I did my first Hari Raya gathering this year. Great to be able to share the celebration.

  • My book wordcount is now at 15,000. Aiming for 60,000

  • My number of LinkedIn followers also reached 15,000. Aiming for 50,000

It’s good to pause and reflect at regular intervals to check where you are and your progress. If you do it now, then you know where you are in terms of meeting your goals for 2024. If you are falling behind or nowhere near reaching your goals then you still have 8 months (May to Dec) to work on it and put extra effort in to make sure that you can reach your goals. 

It’s not too late.

Price is RM70 per module to cover logistical cost. (RM200 if you register for all 4 modules)
