Some people exercise to lose weight.

Some people exercise to look good.

Both valid reasons.

But here is something most people don't talk about.

Exercise is actually one of the most powerful ways to boost your happinezz.

And the science behind it is quite fascinating.

Remember the happy hormones?

Dopamine · Oxytocin · Serotonin · Endorphin

Exercise hits almost all of them.

Endorphins are released when you push your body.

That "high" you feel after a run or a workout?

That's endorphins talking.

Serotonin levels go up with regular exercise.

Mood becomes more stable.

That anxious feeling? Quieter.

Sleep? More better.

Dopamine kicks in when you finish a workout.

Even a short one.

The sense of achievement that I did something today

And you don't need a gym membership.

You don't need a personal trainer.

You don't need the latest expensive pair of Adidas running shoes.

15 minutes brisk walking around your neighbourhood.

20 squats before your morning shower.

Naik tangga instead of the lift.

Itu pun dah cukup.

Every bit of movement tells your brain, this person is alive and doing things.

And your brain rewards you for it.

So the next time you rasa malas nak exercise…

Remember, you are not just moving your body.

You are manufacturing your own happinezz.
