I bought the kacang rebus today because it reminded me of my handsome father
He loves kacang rebus.
So when I go to the pasar malam in Kepong every Thursday with my beautiful mother, we always buy a bag of kacang rebus for him
For me I always want some satay, for my mum as usual she will buy the sayur and ikan
So when I saw the kacang rebus today in a restaurant, I just had to have it. Dah lama tak makan because not so easy to find it these days
And it immediately brought back all those childhood memories
Childhood memories when things were more simpler
When kids still play outside after school. Simple games that doesn’t require internet. The main rule was we must be back home before sunset/maghrib
When TV only have 3 channels. RTM1, RTM2 and TV3. There was no Netflix so you have to watch the program when it is being played on TV
When pasar malam is the highlight of the week. When everyone goes there because mall wasn't really a thing yet back then.
Don’t you wish that you can just turn back time sometimes to when things were more simpler?
