Wow! HR continue to impress me

I thought I have seen it all before, but this is the first time I’ve heard about this one

One of my clients got a job offer recently

He’s been looking for a job for quite a while, so of course he was so happy to receive the offer

The offer was only through WhatsApp though, which is a little bit weird but ok la.

An offer is still an offer.

He consulted me to discuss the offer and I told him why don’t you give them a call to discuss more because there were some details missing like the annual bonus, annual leave and other benefits

But before he could call them, he noticed that the WhatsApp message with the offer has been deleted

Yes, really. 

D-E-L-E-T-E-D

No call, no nothing, just simply deleted.

So he call the HR la to check what’s happening 

The HR simply said that offer has been withdrawn. Ditarik balik. No explanation whatsoever.

Wow wow wow

How can you do that hello?

I don’t know what to say anymore  

I know times are tough at the moment. Everyone trying to protect their rice bowl.

But don’t do something like this la

You are playing with peoples hope and emotion 

This is why people don’t like HR (mintak maap ya my HR friends)
