The worst career advice I ever received?

Work harder.

That's the recipe for burnout haha

What nobody teaches you is how to work smarter. Tak de orang ajar

Two things however changed everything for me. Made my working life so much easier

First is about understanding urgent vs important.

Understanding urgent is not

A lot of time urgent is just other people's priorities being pushed to you.

Learning to differentiate what's truly important from what is just noise, that skill alone will save you a lot stress.

Second is time blocking.

Allocating specific time to specific tasks. 30 minutes for each task. Don’t give it too much time

Because no matter how long you give yourself to finish a task, you will use all of it.

You allocate two hours for something that should take thirty minutes - you will use up the two hours.

Time blocking will make you more disciplined

I'll be covering both of these — and more — in my Zoom webinar this Thursday.

One hour. That is all.

And I can guarantee it will save you much more than that in time every single week.
